Woodgrain Inventory Status Update – 7.8.13
Memo 54-13
July 8, 2013
Amarr is expected to deplete its inventory of Stratford 3000 and Oak Summit 3000 21” Dark Woodgrain product within the next few days.
The chart below shows Amarr’s current Medium Woodgrain and Dark Woodgrain product availability and the begin order dates for the newly announced dual-directional woodgrain product.
We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. A faster-than-expected depletion of inventory of the existing woodgrain colors and an extended period for development of the new dual-directional colors has impacted Amarr’s scheduled transition from the existing Medium Woodgrain and Dark Woodgrain to the new dual-directional woodgrain colors.
Throughout the coming weeks, we will continue to keep you updated on the status of existing woodgrain product availability and the dual-directional woodgrain transition.
Dual-Directional Woodgrain Product Information
A new, more distinctive dual-directional woodgrain pattern with a horizontal woodgrain pattern on the rails of a section and a vertical woodgrain pattern on the stiles and panels.
The new dual-directional woodgrain pattern will be available in three colors: Golden Oak, Walnut, and Mahogany, and will replace the existing Medium and Dark Woodgrain colors. All three new woodgrain colors will be available in:
- Classica 1000/2000/3000 – Available for order 7/22 (odd heights not available)
- Oak Summit 3000 – Available for order 7/22
- Stratford 3000 – Available for order 7/22
- Heritage 3000 – New Addition – Available for order 8/19
Replacement Sections
We will manufacture the current Medium and Dark woodgrain colors while supplies last and will not produce these colors after July 22, 2013. For any remaining inventory after this date, there will be a liquidation sale. However, no replacement sections of the current Medium and Dark Woodgrain colors will be available after July 22, 2013.
Ancillary Woodgrain Items
The existing window frames, inserts and vinyl stop of the current Medium and Dark woodgrain colors will complement the new dual-directional woodgrain colors. An item description change for these items will occur on July 22, 2013. Specifically, Medium Woodgrain items will change description to Golden Oak, and Dark Woodgrain items will be named Mahogany. New ancillary items will be set up for the Walnut color. Touch-up paint will be available for the new dual-directional colors in August.
